About the NGO:
Inclusive Planet is an online community which persons with visual impairment can easily use to share accessible content and relevant information, to interact socially, and in the process, realise the greater vision i.e. to create a unique online community that can create multiple community-based solutions beyond content and social interaction.

We believe that community based solutions are the answer to the problems of print-impaired persons the world over; and we seek to build a powerful social web for the print-impaired* that can generate and facilitate the sharing of these solutions.

Inclusive Planet is transformative because it enables visually impaired individuals and organisations, otherwise disconnected, to connect and communitise.

* A person is said to be print-impaired when he cannot access content presented in a print medium i.e. printed texts and symbols on paper or on screens. Print-impairment is a super set that includes visual impairment, reading impairments such as dyslexia, or those caused by physical disabilities. This super-set includes more than 200 million worldwide.
Projects of Interest:
Community Management
Managing the experience of each member is one of the most important aspects of our work. Community Management thus forms the core of our work. It involves all the activities ranging from helping members understand the community, engaging with members, ensuring the community is growing and responding to the needs of the members, and facilitate a culture of collaboration between all the members. It is also the most exciting part of our work!

Outreach Programme
The visually impaired community are a disconnected group and if we want to reach out to more people we need to do an outreach programme. We have designed a unique and special experience which we conduct as a workshop called \"Inclusive Challenge\". Through this workshop, the participants realise that majority of their problems can be solved through the power of collaboration, and come out of with a new kind of awareness. We have successfully conducted this workshop many times. You will be trained on how to run this workshop and then reach out to as many people as possible.
