to gain support for building on to their CSR and work on team building; along

I/We have registered a SOAP Account. Why it is not listed in SOAP?
Your SOAP account will be listed after you have completed all the sections of your
profile. Log into your account and provide the required information.
NGO and Partners
If you have provided all the information and your account
is not listed, your account may not have been approved by the SOAP Admin.
All the NGO and Partner accounts require a SOAP Admin approval before being listed
in SOAP website.
How does the Credits System work?
NGO’s
are required to register a project idea for approval to be listed online. While
approving a project idea, the SOAP Admin assigns credits per hour a volunteer
can earn for the project. These are based on the skill and effort level required
to complete the task. On completion of each task/project, the credits will be
granted based on the number of volunteering hours completed
by a Volunteer. The SOAP system will be updated by the NGO for number of volunteering
hours completed by each volunteer on each project.
Each project will
display the following details:
Duration – Number of days of volunteering work
Volunteer Time – The number of hours per day a volunteer will have to work
Credits
Granted – The number of credits a volunteer can earn by working for an hour on
the task
Example Scenario:
Duration: 5 days
Volunteer Time: 2 hours per day
Credits
Granted: 16 credits per hour
Maximum hours volunteer can work on the project: 10 hours
Total Credits a Volunteer can earn: 160 credits
Who allocates the Credits for each Volunteer?
The
credits calculation is an automated process handled by the SOAP system based
on the credits a volunteer can earn per hour and the number of hours of volunteering
work completed on a project.
The SOAP Admin, after consulting the NGO and the Credits Advisory Committee, assigns credits per hour a volunteer can earn for the project. These are based on the skill and effort level required to complete the task. The NGO will submit the details of the hours worked for each Volunteer. Based on this the SOAP system calculates the credits for each volunteer.
What are Projects?
Projects or Programs are volunteering opportunities and service requests posted by registered NGO’s.
How do Projects Work?
How are Credits assigned to a Project?
Credits
are assigned based on the Skill and Effort level required to complete the Task.
Credit is allocated for hourly basis. All registered NGO’s are required to register
possible Project Ideas before they can add a Project for volunteering. Credits
are assigned when a Project Idea is approved by a SOAP Admin.

Project
